Wedding card

I've only made a couple wedding cards, including this one.  I do know that I love the white on white style cards!  To make this I used the quatrefoil embossing folder on a 5"x5" piece of white daisy cardstock.  I tied the ribbon around the piece and used some liquid glass under the knot to keep it in place and under a couple small spots that would be covered by the layered piece.  Then the 3"x3" piece was embossed with a flower embossing folder I have and layered on the 3 1/4"x3 1/4" piece.  I used the shower flower occasions stamp set for the sentiment, and finished with some clear gems.  I've been trying to make sure that I stamp the inside of cards to really finish them off.  For the inside I used the August stamp of the month, using smokey plum (retiring Aug 31st) and slate inks.

Get Organized!

Get Organized

During the month of August you can get your hands on two NEW organizational products!  It gets even better though.  When you purchase the new marker roll-up at full retail price, you will receive the new D-size stamp set Balloon Wishes for FREE!  Or if you place an order for the new accessory roll-up at full retail price, you will receive two new Base & Bling style sheets, Affirmations and Lovely Blooms FREE!  These are new items that are a part of the new catalog but they are offering them as part of the August Campaign.

The accessory roll-up is going to be great for all those little sheets of dots, gems, brads, and other small items.  I think this is going to be a hit for when you want to take your embellishments with you.  There are 16 compartments total.  Plus it has a hanging loop for vertical storage too!  I can't wait to get mine soon.  The Base & Bling sheets are going to look great on the new items coming out too!

The marker roll-up is the perfect way to store your Shin Han markers, CTMH has a great selection of colors.  The detail you can get with them while coloring in a stamped image is great!  Plus with the loop for vertical storage your items will always be close, but not falling everywhere.  Also did you know that the best way to store your markers or is horizontal?  It keeps the tips from drying out.

Here's a peak of the freebies you can get when you place an order!

Brushed WOTG layout 2

This was the second layout that I came up with to go with the Brushed WOTG.  The stamp set used was last months stamp of the month.  I still have tons of paper left to create a couple more layouts from the workshop.  I haven't really gotten around to it since we went camping and then had a wedding to attend.

If I were to recreate this I think I would have added a couple of white squares to the left page to seem more balanced since I didn't have anymore of that color.
